My advice is to be cautious when buying a “flip” home from an investor and make sure you get a thorough inspection.
Sub-par work and work done without permits is pretty common in my experience. This beautiful looking kitchen in Milwaukee had a sink and counter top that wasn’t fastened, a damaged cabinet door that was held together with tape and the new tile was a peel and stick on type that was ready to fall off. There is also no light above the sink. The bathroom sinks were loose as well.
A good inspector looks past the bells and whistles and looks for quality and workmanship.
